U.S. Army Medical Service Officer
The Business Problem
The U.S. Army needed a professionally produced video to recruit and inspire the next generation of officers into the Medical Service branch. Healthcare in a combat environment is one of the most demanding and impactful roles in the military — and communicating that to prospective officers required a video that was both informative and emotionally compelling.
What We Fixed
- Utilized on-base access via a Common Access Card (CAC) to film authentic soldier and medical officer interviews, giving the video a ground-level credibility that resonates with serious candidates - Drew from the Department of Defense video archive to incorporate real-world medical operations footage, adding visual depth and context beyond what a standard production could achieve - Structured the narrative to clearly walk prospective officers through the Medical Service career path — from training and specialization to deployment and leadership roles in the field
Estimated Business Impact
Medical Service Officers are among the most critically needed personnel in the Army. A well-produced recruitment video for this branch helps attract qualified candidates with both the medical background and the leadership mindset the Army requires. As part of the broader officer branch series, this video strengthens West Point's recruitment pipeline and ensures prospective officers have a clear, compelling picture of what serving in Army medicine actually looks like.
