U.S. Army Finance Officer

The Business Problem

The U.S. Army needed a professionally produced video to recruit the next generation of officers into the Finance Corps — a branch that is often overlooked but absolutely essential to keeping the Army operational. Managing billions in military funding, soldier pay, and financial operations in combat zones, Finance Officers play a critical behind-the-scenes role that required a video to bring it into the spotlight.

What We Fixed

- Used on-base access via a Common Access Card (CAC) to conduct authentic interviews with Finance Corps officers and soldiers, revealing the real scope and impact of financial leadership within the Army - Integrated footage from the Department of Defense video archive to contextualize the Finance Officer's role within broader military operations — showing how fiscal management directly enables mission success - Built a narrative that walks prospective officers through the Finance Corps career path, from training and certification to senior leadership roles managing large-scale financial operations in both garrison and deployed environments

Estimated Business Impact

The Finance Corps competes for officer candidates against more visually dramatic branches, making a well-produced recruitment video especially important. By clearly communicating the strategic value and career growth of a Finance Officer role, this video helps the Army attract business-minded, detail-oriented candidates who are the right fit. As part of the full West Point officer series, it rounds out the recruitment library and ensures every branch has a compelling, professional voice.
