U.S. Army Chemical Officer

The Business Problem

The U.S. Army needed a professionally produced video to recruit the next generation of officers into the Chemical Corps — one of the Army's least understood yet most critically important branches. Dealing with CBRN (Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear) threats, this branch required a video that could demystify the role and present it as the high-stakes, high-impact career it truly is.

What We Fixed

- Used on-base access via a Common Access Card (CAC) to film authentic interviews with Chemical Corps officers and soldiers, giving prospective candidates an honest, ground-level look at what the career involves - Integrated footage from the Department of Defense video archive to showcase real CBRN operations, training exercises, and field deployments that illustrate the branch's critical mission - Crafted a narrative that clearly walks prospective officers through the Chemical Corps career path — from specialized training and certification to leadership roles in some of the Army's most sensitive and consequential operations

Estimated Business Impact

The Chemical Corps is one of the Army's most specialized branches, and finding officers with the right combination of scientific aptitude, composure, and leadership ability is a genuine challenge. A targeted, well-produced recruitment video helps the Army reach and attract that specific profile. As part of the full West Point officer branch series, this video ensures the Chemical Corps has a compelling, professional presence in the Army's recruitment ecosystem.
