U.S. Army Armor Officer
The Business Problem
The U.S. Army needed a compelling recruitment video to inspire the next generation of officers to pursue a career in the Armor branch. One of the most storied and visually dynamic branches in the Army, Armor required a production that could match its intensity and communicate the scope of an officer's career path in armored warfare and combined arms operations.
What We Fixed
- Leveraged on-base access via a Common Access Card (CAC) to capture authentic interviews with Armor officers and soldiers, grounding the video in real experience rather than polished talking points - Integrated footage from the Department of Defense video archive, bringing in rare and powerful imagery of armored operations that few civilian productions could ever access - Designed a narrative arc that speaks directly to prospective officers — covering the training pipeline, leadership responsibilities, and the unique role Armor plays on the modern battlefield
Estimated Business Impact
The Armor branch attracts a specific type of officer candidate — competitive, tactically minded, and drawn to high-stakes leadership. A well-crafted recruitment video for this branch helps self-select the right candidates, reducing drop-off and improving the quality of the applicant pool. As part of the full officer branch series, this video adds to a cohesive recruitment library that serves West Point and Army recruiting efforts for years to come.
