Founder & CEO — MEAN Advertising, Ponca City, OK
I'm not a template shop and I'm not here to make marketing look complicated. I help local service businesses get attention, generate leads, and grow revenue — with 16+ years actually running campaigns, not just talking about them.
Why I Built MEAN
I'll be straight with you, because that's how I do everything. I started MEAN Advertising after getting out of prison on a marijuana charge — which ended my career as a government contractor. I had two options: let that define me, or build something. I chose to build.
That experience is exactly why I have no patience for agencies that overcharge, oversell, and underdeliver. I watched too many of them sell expensive templates while outsourcing the real work to lower-quality labor. MEAN was built as the opposite of that.
I know what it's like to start over with everything on the line. I bring that same urgency to every business I work with — because getting you real customers isn't a nice-to-have to me. It's the whole point.
The goal was never to sell fancy. The goal is to help businesses get attention, generate leads, and grow revenue.
What I Actually Believe About Marketing
The principles behind every campaign I run.
Distribution beats everything
Most owners give up because the right people never saw the message — not because the message was bad. Fix the targeting and the "bad content" usually turns out to be fine.
You don’t need to do everything
The biggest lie in marketing is that you have to do it all — chamber, newspaper, radio, every platform. You need one thing done right: your message in front of the right people.
Speed wins the lead
A lead needs a callback in five minutes, not five days. I’ve watched "bad lead quality" turn out to be a sales team that answered three days late. Response rate makes or breaks a business.
Revenue, not vanity metrics
Clients don’t care about impressions and likes. They care about new customers and revenue. Advertising should be measurable, not a gamble — and with MEAN, it isn’t.
What I'm Especially Good At
Finding where the money leaks out
Most agencies know how to build a website and stop there. I see the customer journey from A to Z — the ad, the offer, the follow-up, the sales process — and I find the gaps where leads and revenue are quietly slipping away.
One client was sure they had a lead-quality problem. The leads were fine; their salespeople were taking days to respond. Another had an offer that was just slightly off — we rewrote the messaging and leads started coming in the next day. That's the work: diagnose fast, fix the real problem, and make advertising feel like a system instead of a gamble.
$3M → $12M
Grew a client 4x in two years after adding tracking and digitization across the business.
$15–$50
Typical cost per lead I deliver — beating average performance in most industries.
½ the budget
Got a client more (and higher-quality) leads on half what they were paying a competitor.
$50K–$13M
Revenue range of businesses I’ve built campaigns for — construction, medical, and beyond.
How I Work
Blunt, fast, and built around results — not meetings.
Instant communication
I skip the endless meetings and work through SMS and email so everything is tracked and nothing falls through the cracks. Give me admin access to everything, and I take it from there.
Honest, always
If you expect me to lie, I'm gone. I won't promise you'll go viral — that's mostly luck. What I will do is make you known and drive real revenue growth you can measure.
Foundation first
Before paid ads, I make sure the free fundamentals are handled — Google Business Profile, a real website, a credible presence — so every dollar you spend lands on something solid.
Who I Work Best With
Local businesses ready to actually grow
I'm built for local service businesses and professionals who wish more people filled out the form on their website — including the ones who've never had a single form filled out. The clients who win with me are willing to invest in ad spend and aren't afraid to pick up the phone and call a lead back. If that's you, let's talk.
